Digital Negative User in UK ? - cross-posted on Piezobw

Having read Jon's post on Digital Negatives (link below) - I realised that the linearization tool I am developing for K6/7 could easily be applied to the problem of linearizing the QTR curves against the silver print.

Linearizing against the Silver print is the correct way to approach this problem - basically seeing the film as just part of the "print driver" -and it removes the need for a PS .acv file and all the limitations that brings.

Having discussed this with Jon, and done some theoretical tests, I am ready to try this out for real. Ideally with someone local to me so I can see the results first hand and use my spectro etc. if needed.

I am based in Guildford, UK and I would be interested in touching base with anyone within 100 miles, working with Digital Negatives. Email me off-line drmrking @ gmail. com
