Hi Folks i want to set up a 9500 with fire wire K6 inks and Quadtone Rip.Is this possible?

Nope.  You can't use firewire -- Epson has a proprietary protocol on
firewire so the
builtin support in OSX does not work with it.    USB should be just as good.

Does that mean I can use a Parallel to USB cable to make the connection?

I've never done it but I think that's how you do it.  I'm not sure if
it depends on the particular adapter.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
