Inkseparation.tif printed completely gray

Inkseparation.tif printed completely gray

2011-02-26 by mikoyan_simonov

Hello

I wanted to print the inkseparation.tif, in Calibration Mode.

The proper file is automaticaly selected, all options are OK (?)... But the print is BW, no color at all; and all the lines are identical (Ink 2 - Cyan is the same as Ink 3 - Magenta and so on...)

Same result with Museo Silver Rag and Ilford Gold Fibre.

Windows Seven 64 bits
Epson R2400 with Epson ink

Do you have an idea ? Thank you.

(The prints on Museo Silver Rag with the curves already provided for R2400 are wonderful !)

At least on a Mac, when I choose Calibration mode, the paper choices are
grayed out. I simply print on copy paper.

Also, the QTR profiles provided for the 2400 don¹t include Museo Silver Rag,
as far as I can see.

Is this a PC vs Mac thing?

Harry

If you're using QTR 2.7.0 you probably need this patch -

I had something like that happen to me a while back. What I found was that in "printer" drop down, the "Name" and "Printing Model" did not match. You may to confirm that these are correct.

Good luck.
