Efficient method to check R1800 GLOP Position

Recently I attempted to print in calibration mode with my R1800 using Adobe CS5 and also Lightroom understanding the inherent problems. The known deficiencies were not a problem, however, because my only purpose was to verify that the 3MK black ink in the GLOP position was actually printing. The Epson utility program, as far as I know, does not test that 8th position. My question is this: is there a way, a custom utility, anything, that will allow me to test all 8 positions efficiently without a lot of ink wastage similar to the original Epson utility application?
