QTR-Quadtone RIP

I've installed Qadtone RIP and am excited about it after waiting
several years to begin digitizing my sizeable archives of B&W.  On my
first attempt (and second and third) the image printed out with
reversed tones (i.e. as a negative).  Even when I went back and
reversed my original, it did this.  I have installed the Inkjetmall
B&W inkset.  Is there something I'm not seeing about set-up?  I was
printing on Epson Enhanced Matte.  Image was converted to B&W through
nik softeware.  AND, I am having some paper feed problems.  I noted
that the paper will not feed if I have Photoshop open, and
occasionally even when it isn't.  Help would be greatly appreciated.
