Hi The 181 should have two screw holes on each wooden cheek. Mine doesn't 'tinkle' when upside down although there was some grit that made made a rattling sound on the contacts but that shook free after the ist time. Hopefully yours doesn't have J-wires all my old Roland synths have really nice quality contacts. Good luck with the power supply.
