Hi Robert A bit more info on the gate signal. The 100M gate generator circuit diagram shows the Gate ouput to be from -0.96V to +13.6V and the Trig output to be from 0V to +15V. The Env Generator gate input threshold is shown to be about +3V. So you should be able to use any gate/trig that swings from about 0V to at least +3V and all the way up to +15V. In fact the Env input has protection allowing even bidirectional signals to be used as a gate. Try using the LFO and S/H Clock outputs to trigger the Env Generators.
