Roland System 100m

hello all,
does anyone know if these plastic washers(circular
plastic things that go between the screws and the
module panels)are there for any specific reason(for
example, insulaton purposes) apart from the obvious
reason, which is keeping the module panels unmarked
from the screws?
i need some of the screws for my new 191j cabinet,but
i cannot find these plastic washers. are they really
usefull for something apart from not marking the
module panels?
