Hi all
Tony, thanks for the informations.
I'm glad your system is still working well.
I have 2 191j bases i use for a few modules and a 180 keyboard (and
occasionally for parts).
I also have a small Blacet system (works nice with the 100m) and a
growing Synth.com one.
I'm thinking to build custom DIN cables properly wired to power future
Synth.com modules.
I already have a Synth.com QPS2 PSU (the smallest one) and was thinking
to order a QPS1 with some modules but the weight of the PSU
dramatically increases the shipping costs.
Anything i should be advise before going this way ?
Best
Olivier

Hi Olivier
I checked the 191J circuit and I'm pretty sure the current limit on the
±15V regulator is about 700mA but I wouldn't load it beyond 500mA. The
classic setup and 181 keyboard draws about 280mA from +15V, 230mA from -
15V and about 40mA from 22V. This is all taken from the circuit
diagrams and not measured so I can't guarantee the info but you can
clearly drive more than 5 modules and a keyboard from a 191J. By the
way the 100m I bought from you is still working well having converted
the 191J's 100VAC supply to 230VAC.
Best regards
Tony
