hello list,
i have been using the a100 with the system-100m
together for a long time now and they work fine
together, BUT, you should be carefull about the high
(+15 volts) trigger/gate outputs of the system100m
when connecting them to specific a100 inputs!
here are direct comments from Dieter Doepfer,
regarding the a100 modules list that you should NOT
connect these system100m's +15volts triger/gate outs
to:
Dieter Doepfer says:
"Yes I can verify that a +15V clock/trigger can be
applied to all
clock/gate/trigger/CV inputs of the a100, with
exception of these modules:
A-101-2 (G1 and G2 inputs)
A-112 (gate input)
A-129-5 (voiced/unvoiced inputs/output)
A-148 (all in/outputs)
A-150 (all in/outputs)
A-151 (all in/outputs)
A-152 (all in/outputs)
A-155 (external audio/CV inputs)
A-192 (all inputs)
To be on the safe side I'd recommend a simple
attenuator. I could modify an
A-180, so that the upper socket is an input and the
other three sockets are attenuated outputs that
convert +15V to about +12V.
In one A-180 module two such units could be included."
hope this helps.
best regards,
Bakis.
