Does it really annoy you to wait for 20-30 seconds for the machine to warm up? I don't think this is actually a technical problem. Please put away your soldering iron and stop frightening us... ;-) I must admit 20-30 seconds is a bit long at a 'warm boot', but I don't think it's a technical problem. Tip of the day: Turn on your JP8 half an hour before a recording session or performance to give the JP some time to warm up inside as well. Before playing your first note, hit the auto-tune button. If you don't trust your JP to be tuned, check it earlier and/or keep a frequency counter/tuner connected to one of the ouputs on the machine that is not routed to the mixer. This way you can check the tonal stability of the unit every five minutes...if you like... Cheers, RVe
