The sound level is of course determined by the substain level of the envelope. Again, nothing special about it but could be of use (?) if you use it in arpeggio mode. I mainly us it when I calibrate the signal levels since my JP8 is "long" way from my mixer ;-O > just out of curiousity, does anyone have a pdf file of the Jupiter 8 manual? > I've never seen it and I figure it would make for an interesting read. I don´t have the manual in front of me (can´t find it) but it´s not much interesting at all... It´s _much_ more interesting searching the AH archieves for Jupiter-8... all the nice things about this synth has been posted... nice sound(s), fantastic output section (balanced xlr outputs which can be used togethr with the unbalanced outputs for nice stereo picture/routing). When you install the _Encore Electronics_ midi kit, the synth transforms into a killer midi synth with monster sound. The best sounding poly synth ever in my opinion. Regards. Henning.
