What's the answer? > Royce The answer is...... when you put the JP-8 into dual mode you´re getting two 4 voice synths instead of one 8 voice. If you have the same sound assigned to both the upper and lower layers you´ll hear two identical voices for each key you play. This will cause it to sound twice as loud and fat.
