Hi Mooby, No moderator talk today... ;-) I currently have the same problem with my JP8, and I'm shoppin'around for a replacement battery since I'm convinced that's what could make this problem disappear. If not, then I need to replace the complete memory block and some directly linked electronics... I'm so lucky yo have saved my data of previous setups to MiniDisc (great alternative for tapes!) so I still have all my patches. I too made it a habit of saving all data to MD when I finish a session since I know I just can't stay away from thos knobbies... Good luck with your JP8, let us know if/how the problem is solved.
