I have another question regarding the Jupiter-8 synthesizer:

Is it normal when both(upper & lower) HOLD button LED's light up, when I 
press only one of them(upper or lower) while in WHOLE or DUAL MODE???

while in split mode: when i press one of the hold buttons, that particular 
hold button led lights up...this is correct...isnt it?

Yes it is normal. In whole mode you can only "hold" the entire synth, that's
why both light up.

Yes. In split mode, the JP8 is two, 4 voice synths and they are separately
controlled.
