Hello,
I have a Roland JP-8 that has what appears to be some sort of MIDI retrofit.
The kit is a one-off that was done by hand and it doesn't work properly.
It appears that as well as the this board that was added the (4) ROMS on the

CPU Board may have been changed. I do not yet have the Service Manual 
(ordered it tonight) and I'm hoping someone can help me out. What I would 
like to accomplish is to remove the retrofit and return the unit back to 
normal (stock). I would then like to add a MIDI retrofit from Encore, which 
is popular and reliable. But first things first I want to remove this 
current retrofit and get it working.
If anyone is familiar with the JP-8 and is interested in helping me out I
