I *think* your problem has something to do with how the oscillators are
tracking voltage over the octave.  You need a voltage meter & an
oscilliscope to set it up properly.  From what I understand the heat sink
isn't of enough mass and overheating quickly effects the tuning.

But don't ask me I'm just a freaking piano player that had the opportunity
to be blown away by a Prophet-5 somewhere around the age of 15.
