Did Serge ever sell a "harmonic divider"??
My understanding is that the Serge harmonic divider is clocked by a pulse
output from a VCO and outputs a sine for each harmonic (odd and even) based
on the fundamental of the input, to be used with a number of EG's and VCA's
for additive synthesis. Is that correct?
I've never seen one in person, but it was in the STS catalog about six
years ago. I remember asking Rex Probe about it. He said it was for only
for additive synthesis, and strongly discouraged me from ordering one.
It's not listed at the "Egres" site either, so maybe it was vaporware based
on the Buchla "Harmonic Generator" but Serge never actually built one.

The Buchla 148 is described on their website as having a voltage input (ie.
it contained a VCO). As far I can remember, the "harmonic generator"
described in the Serge catalog used a frequency input. I don't know if the
Serge module was ever actually made, however I do know it was in their
catalog, because I saw it before I ever knew the Buchla module existed.
Any ideas??
