not being an electrical engineer i can't help you much
on this one except that this has been a subject of
much discussion on the list in the past. The VCAs on
the UAP don't attenuate to 0db if memory serves. I
have also had this experience with the UAP in my
system...which is one of the reasons i went to Dual
Channel Stereo Mixers and the QVMs on my setup. I
believe there is a work around for this but i'm not
sure. In my tests on your patch i forgot to use a
UAP..i used a DSM instead. I'll go back and test it
again useing UAP later on today and let you know the
results..as i still have your patch (in modified form)
up and running. Just about anyone else on this list is
more technicaly savy than i and should be able to help
you out. I'm really surprized at the lack of response
so far... or have they all posted to you privatly??
Kind regards
