I only mentioned the Noise as an alternative to the RS because Yannis
seemed concerned about the high cost... when I asked James about
whether the RS could do anything more than a NOISE+SSG combo I was
actually genuinely asking because I wasn't sure.. I only have the
NOISE module and often wondered if I was missing out on any features
by not having a RS.

wish I had one of these...

again IMHO)

yes, UAP only if Yannis is concerned about cost.

my only 'mistake' in my system was to get a QTKB when I really needed
another ADSR - my Quantiser has the undesirable 'slewing' effect
mentioned by others previously here.

yes - very useful...

what about Audio Mixing facilities?

My Dual Processor is perhaps my most used module - great as a CV
source as well as attenuating, adding, multiplying, etc.

90% there

What use are you getting out of this? I don't have one so I can't
comment - and James comments don't seem favourable.

see above...

well apart from the QUO and some basic control modules you've
basically listed every module in the catalog LOL! Seriously though -
I would add the CVI module to the list if you are planning to bring
lots of external control to the Serge. I have a Kenton Pro-2000
permanently patched to my CVI and its great for instant recognition
of Midi-CV activity, Gates, Midi-CV clock, etc. Also great for
bringing in control from other modulars. Takes up a lot of space
though (3").

Amen...
