I finally did it and ordered my 3rd panel to complement my Animal+TKB:
PRNV, NCOM, PDIV, SCPR, VCF2, MIX, DSG, ACPR, RES, DCSM. YES! YES!
YES! I will try to
enjoy the lead time…!
On a related note: I have to interface my Serge with some 1/4" equipment. Q=
uite short
distances (1 m or 3 feet max). So I got hold of one quite special cable: Ba=
nana plug with
associated banana cable (like Pomona), but this banana cable ends in a spec=
ial 1/4" jack.
This special jack has a small screw on its side. When I loose this screw, I=
can just pull out
the banana cable. No soldering. Inside this jack seems to be a kind of need=
le. When I stick
the banana cable into the jack, the open end of the cable gets pinpointed b=
y the needle,
thus establishing electrical contact. The needle is connected with the tip =
of the 1/4"
connector. The screw is just used to hold the banana cable tightly in place=
inside the jack.
I love this cable. I love this more than these fat 1/4" instrument cable wi=
th banana jack
soldered to one side of the cable. So I want more of these cables. But I ha=
ve absolutely no
idea where to get this kind of jack, leave alone how it is called.
Can anybody help?

This cable is made by a company called "George L" and are sold mostly in better guitar stores (great sounding cable and NO soldering!). They offer both straight and "L shaped plugs and work great (I also play guitar...badly!) Here is the URL...
