I'm going to be doing a facelift on an older Serge, to replace banana
jacks which have started to crumble apart. I've found some close
replacements to the old style, though they are slightly different.
(My old ones have a 1/8" thick "front face", and the replacements
I've found are 3/16", so they'll stick out a little bit further from
the front panel, though not as far as new Serge banana jacks. The
dimensions for these are 7/16" diameter by 3/16" thick on the front,
and the total length is 59/64". The use a nut to secure, and have a
single solder tab.
Would anyone else be interested, and if so, about how many? I'm
going to be getting about 100 each, of black, red, and white, and
hopefully a few yellow as well. They come in most other colors too,
and although I do not require any other colors, I could certainly get
a price quote. However, keep in mind that the quantity discounts
apply on a color by color basis, and not to the total number of
banana jacks purchased.
