Nope, the Dual Universal Slope Generator isn't being replaced. I would probably say that the VC Timegen Oscillator excels as producing two very distinctive 'voices', as I described in a previous post, with some of the DTG/DSG capabilities included since they are of the same 'ilk'. It is, however, a new design, and different from the way a DSG would sound in the audio range, I suspect. In other words, the VC Timegen Oscillator and Clock is not meant to replace any other function blocks, only add to and complement the available selection of ingredients.

so, will the vc timegen osc module replace the dual

if not, what is their real difference?
is the timegen osc maybe more specifically made for
producing audio waves?
