Hello people of this group my name is Panos Vlachakis
Recently i attended this group and i think i am the seed of the ''closing down'' chat that happened the last days, in the end Mr. Ken stepped up, as Mr. John told me to be the new admin for this Group.
In the light of this last actions on this group i wanted to prove, that this small gathering is not even nearly to the end, we just wanted a push to start again so here it is.
I the last two years i have started a journey into the realm of SERGE modular systems. I found a passion to build and assemble circuits along with my older passion of exploring the sonic spectrum. I have build CGS, Randome source , and my last child a 2 panel revisited 73 Serge from 73-75 aka THC, boards. All these are things just for you to know me better since i am the newcomer. My intentions of this group from the beginning was to understand more about the complex designs of serge, read if it's possible more informations and articles , and extract new ideas for patches.
My fist topic would focus on to explain one of the patches that i learned on the new system and i kindly ask from you to read it and help me with more ideas or new patches if it's possible, but fist specs of my system.

1x ring modulator
1x reverb/preamp
2x positive slews
2x negative slews
3x envelope generators.
Know that we know what i have on this system let me explain that my intentions of these two panels are to make them as live interaction as possible so i can take them with me in live performances.
The first patch that i start thinking for live performances, was a 3 voice tonal depended patch.
Allow me to explain, since i only have one oscillator that was never meant to track very well especially on 1v/oct and since i have this remarkable positive and negative slews i chose to make a patch that use the Osc. as a fundamental tone and then the two positive slews as frequency dividers along with the negative slews as dedicated vca's since i have only one 'vca'. Of course the three envelopes are one for each voice so i could have three independent dynamics for this purpose, along with my hand expressions. then the triple wave shaper one for each tone and the upper voltage processor as audio mixer and the lower as volt processor for precision volt. the envelopes and cv of the ''osc's'' are triggered and controlled from external sources for know is the 4 stage programmer/sequencer that i have from CGS but in the future might be something else more portable for lives! any ideas corrections or advices will be great.
