Well, yes, thanks for reminding me that purism can get ugly.
FX of course are appropriate for the finished work.
I was just thinking that when I want to hear an equipment demo that the FX
can get distracting or misleading though.
It goes to purpose - if I just want to kick back & enjoy some music the
equipments are not so critical.
But if I'm listening for "how a Serge sounds" and there's other stuff to sort
out - distracting.
