FS 1 rack unit Serge custom box

FS 1 rack unit Serge custom box

2002-03-22 by Bill Felton

Hi All,
I have a little one-unit custom Serge box, purchased from Paul
Schreiber a couple of years ago, made by Kevin in CA.
I need to sell it to extend my cushion during an extended stint
of jobless-ness.
Contents are:
Active Processor, Divide by N Comparator, Dual ASR,
six banana/mini-jack converters and two switches. Standard
Serge power connector.
I'd like to get $525 for it, shipping to anywhere in the US included.
Any takers?

cheers,
Bill

I remember seeing pictures of this unit. How much is genuine Serge and how
much is custom built?

I'm in no possition to purchase though. I'm also on an "extended holiday
courtesy of economic trends".

My understanding is that, aside from the packaging, it's all genuine Serge.
But of course, all genuine Serge gear _is_ custom built ;-)
Aside from the unorthodox packaging, the only anomoly is the presence of
a power light on the panel. This may well be due to the absence of
blinky lights on any of the modules in the unit.
It's a nice unit, especially for anyone looking to add a dual ASR without
going to a full panel. The combo of divide by N, acpr, and (dual) ASR is
pretty powerful...

cheers,
Bill
