Is this true ? The Serge phaser uses vactrols ? Not that patented
LM3900-based circuit ?

Yes it's true. Unless the vactrols are just soldered to the circuit
board for show... :-)

Any idea when he started using vactrols? And which type and how
many? Was the LM3900 type ever used in Phaser modules, or just
in the toy guitar thing?
