Patch Example? Bouncing glass marble

Patch Example? Bouncing glass marble

2004-05-23 by ethanzer0

Hello,

I have been trying to make the sound of a bouncing glass marble or
steel ball bearing. I can't seem to to get it just right. Does
anybody have an example patch for creating this sound?

TIA,

Ethan

start by using an envelope to control the frequency of an lfo. trigger the env (fast rise, slow decay, s, r, etc), invert it, and send the voltage to an lfo controlling a vca with a simple osc input. you've now got a slow lfo that speeds up gradually (shape the env to your liking) just like a bouncing marble or what have you.
