ATA rack case options...

ATA rack case options...

2004-07-18 by angrysavant

I remember a post to analog heaven about a 6 panel system in a zero
halliburton rack for air transport and what not. This was in the
pacific northwest. Any ideas what model this rack was? I remember
seeing a picture of it somewhere, but can't find it now.

I'm wishing to make a 12 panel portable system in a single aluminum
rack that can be checked as baggage. I'll keep it light weight by
dumping the panels cases and just using some cross rails to keep the
panels stiff (most of this is refurbished paperface). It should have
wheels obviously and fold open vertically.

any suggestions. quantum scientific is out (i think)... Nice but
probably costs too much for a custom case like this.

that would be me. Nothing i can say about it, cause it was stolen about a year and a half ago when some scum sucking pig broke into my storage unit and got away with it and a couple custom Anvil cases and a pair of JBL 4311a...amazingly, they left the 147 Leslie.

kind regards
