Hi all,

cross posted to Serge this time as well as Modcan and
AH to see if it drums up any additional interest.
apologies to common members for the duplicate post.

Cyndustries Sawtooth Animator: excellent function and
cosmetics, original owner, low hours, includes power
connectors and mounting screws. Great module, I just
don’t find that I use it often for the sounds I’m
creating with my modular. $360 shipped.

Not looking for any trades at this time unless you
have some 72” or 48” banana cables.

I have plenty of references from AH, Harmony Central,
etc. Items to be shipped from Canada. I can do PayPal
(buyer to cover fees if paying from a credit card) or
International Money Orders. A personal cheque drawn on
a US bank is OK, but the buyer will have to wait 25
BUSINESS DAYS for the cheque to clear due to mandatory
money laundering laws that all Canadian banks must
follow.

Thanks for the bandwidth,
Kevin

To the best of my knowledge, PayPal offers their Platinum service as a way of sticking it to
you (no complementary lubricants). If you have this special service, then you pay the 2.9%
regardless of whether or not you receive money by credit card or cash. The only way around this
that I know of is to have two PayPal accounts, one *special* one and one basic one.

On another note, I noticed (from your website) that you are keeping your Kawaii K5000. My
bandmate has one of these and he recently added the Behringer BCR2000 to aid the editing functions
via midi. For $130 new, it adds soooooo much functionality. I'd highly suggest it. You can hear
an example of the K5000 with Behringer controller at:

yes, I recently discovered this as well. it caught me
off guard, because the first couple of cash payments I
received after going "platinum" did not have any fees
deducted for some reason... but now even cash payments
are getting the deductions. so I guess the 3% rule
applies regardless. news to me. I had resisted
"upgrading" for this very reason. what to do? starting
another account is one idea, I suppose...

re: keeping the K5000 - at this point, keeping it is
more a matter of not wanting to deal with shipping it.
but I will probably set it up again once I move into
what will be my future studio room - the current room
I'm in doesn't really have the space for it. I imagine
its cold digital tones will make for a nice contrast
to the Fenix/Modcan... as for editing it, I have a
template patch for the Nord Modular that sends the
same CC messages as the K5000's own knob box, so that
serves for editing it when I need to. and failing
that, I've also got that Spin Doctor sitting there, so
I'm covered one way or the other ;-)

cheers,
kevin
