haven't had the Serge on in a while.
Rereading some of the stuff about burst generators, I decided to patch up
something with voltage controlled pulse count.
I know, it's extremely horrible: picture a drug-induced dream of a
really bad five-piece steel drum band.

The Patch is in 3 major groups - audio, trigger, control.

For audio, I use the VCFQ attenuated thru a mix2 and warped slightly in
a VCM #2.

For control, I have a few things going on -
Audio sine wave from a PCO mixed in with the S/H output of the RS to
control the VCFQ pitch. Before it gets to the VCFQ
the pitch control is routed to the input of a DSG for glide. The glide
rate is VC'd by the Smooth output of the RS, so the glide rate varies
randomly.
The Pitch of the Sine wave is also VC'd by the RS S/H output.
The RS is also feeding its S/H source to a separate SSG (the stepped
part) for aseparate random step that's uncorrelated but shares the same
trigger.

Triggering is done by a DSG patched up as a clock source at around
40hz. It feeds the burst gen setup - boths sides of a DTG. The first
TG determines the burst duration, the 2nd one each burst pulse.
Send the output of a comparator to the Trig of the 1st TG. Send its
Gate to the IN+ of the comparator.
Send the Gate of the 2nd TG into the IN- of the comparator. Set the
comparator knob to -5 fully clockwise.
Send the clock pulses from the DSG to the TRIG input of the 2nd TG.
The Burst Duration is modulated by the S/H output of the RS. .

One last important part: send the TG #1 Gate to an inverter if possible,
then to the Trig input of the VCFQ.
