Jphn,
Shoot me -but my feeling --> it's cool to be cool and list items on a sale first, but if there are no immediate takers, I don't see anything wrong with ebay. What I usually do is announce that 'before this goes for auction' and give it a set period of time, like a week or something and then it hits the blocks. I''m sorry - but if it don't sell first, are ya cool or a fool for not unloading it on an auction after that?

Despite the fact that i have panels for sale. . . . SALE!!!!
i thought if i could pick one of these up for cheap it wouldn't hurt. These things are over 25 years old. The programmer panel doesn't even have the LEDs or the scale select switches not to mention the goofy and not standard switches that are on the panel. This guy would need a serious re-core job of the programmer section and you can all just about figure what that will cost.. . i asked. And what did it sell for?? sh** . Thank god i was out of town. What a riot. $2800 for each of those. . . was that about right?? And i have 5 panels that are less than ten years old for under 2k and no one is biting?? jive ass i say!!! LMAO!!!
I'm not set up to sell on evil bay, but that's about to change. Methinks i've been screwing myself by being cool ( or thinking im being cool ) by offering to various lists of enthusists at way decent prices and then this guy comes along a gets almost new prices for old stuff. Christ!!!! LOL
.. . . and i even know the guy!! hahahahahaha FANORK~!!!!!!!!
e-bay. . . . here i come!!!!! hahahahaha yeeeeeee haaaaaaaawwwwwwwwwww
. .
ok, i'm better now : )
kind regards

Seeing these winning bids for vintage panels, it's just ridiculous
that John (and Blake?) still has panels for sale!
