i split last thursdays for a wedding in mexico over the (american
memorial day) holiday weeking, and come back today
to view the first bit of unfortunate "bad behavior" on our list,
seemingly between pete kember and a few others. i tried
to figure out what was going on but got disgusted rather early so i
trashed everything in the thread. therefore, i'm not
in any position to judge the relative merits of this fight (which
appears to be over, so this post is hopefully moot).
fellows: keep it off the list, ok? i cringe at the thought that
worthwhile listmembers might forego membership simply
because of some personal beef that's developed with another member. no
one cares who "likes" one another, or
"dislikes" them or their music, or who might bristle at the chosen
method and style of communication in their posts, or who doesn't
grok their freakin' stage name. EGRES and this list are basically your
only hope of communicating with, learing from, laughing
with, and discovering your fellow serge users. nothing is worse, as a
listmoderator, that opening a message and seeing what i saw, if only
briefly and cursory. it makes you start to realize your evil
power.....;^)
