rack mounting Serge panels

Hi all
I have a 6 panel system (very old in a wooden suitcase) and would like
to rack mount it.
Are there any rack ears available for Serge panels or where can I find
rack parts. PS: I am in Europe
Thanks!

Rex sells Rack Ears but they are a bit pricey, something like $70 a set,
when I bought some awhile back. They are nice extruded aluminum pieces
though. The inexpensive solution is to get some 1", right angle
aluminum or steel pieces and drill your own.

This place sells 1 inch corner aluminum, .125 inch thick. They'll
even cut it to the length you specify, so all you have to do is drill the
holes. They are USA based, but do ship overseas.

Hi,

I've just joined this group.

I'm very pleased to see that there are so many Serge enthusiastics.

Is there anyone who could provide rack ears for my old 4 panel Serge Modular anywhere in
Europe instead of ordering them for the States?

Best regards,

S

Hi S.

I guess you could always check with Rex @ STS for the exact dimensions for the rack ears and have them made at a metal shoppe in Europe..

I doubt that there is a resource for Serge-specific parts in your part of the world.

just my 2 cents (canadian ;)
