M-Class?

M-Class?

2008-02-21 by Ioannis Kazlaris

Hello,
I was wondering whether the new improved designs will make it to the old panels too. Also, if the absense of customization still remains.
Thanx
Yannis

The absence of customization remains. Yes, the new improved designs, as I said, will make it to the venerable shop panels.

Hope that helps!

Kim,
The "reset" input, when pulsed, moves the active stage to stage 1. The "preset" input, when pulsed, moves the active stage to the last stage selected by either the manual push button or the stage select input.
For example, let's suppose that the SQP is being advanced by an external clock and you have pressed the stage 3 button so that the sequence is cycling from stage 3 to stage 6 (a four-stage loop). You are currently on stage 5 - its voltages are active and the LED is lit.
If a pulse is received at the "preset" input the SQP will immediately jump back to stage 3 and advance at the next clock to stage 4.
If the "reset" input is pulsed the SQP will jump to stage 1 (even though this stage was not part of the selected 3-6 loop) and advance at the next clock to stage 2.
This allows for some interesting sequence permutations in combination with multiple pulse sources (such as a pulse divider) and/or manual interaction using the buttons
Let me know if this explanation is not clear.
Best wishes!
Chris Sawyer
