Hallo Counselor,

I am the operator of a 37+ module Modcan System. (we also have serge stuff)
The _sonic_ comparison btw Modcan/Serge is a *joke*, I would like to invite
YOU and anyone who wishes access to my studio to *listen* to how wonderful
(and diffrent) the Modcan system sounds.

I also have a large Serge system on order with STS since December, and if I
find out STS in indeed wasting time and (our) money with this legal
*nonsence* I will cancel my order first thing Monday. (If you talk to Rex b4
i do...tell him i said hallo ;)

As an operator of BOTH systems..........trust me..its a BIG waste of time
that could be better spent cutting down lead times to less than 7 months.

Whilst I also hope Rex would concentrate on getting the backlog of panels
out rather than any legal pursuit, I do understand how some people -
especially those connected to STS - COULD have some concerns about the
Modcan modules.

I think your offer above to listen to the 2 systems outlines the
difficulties involved in such a legal pursuit.

Would any obvious sonic difference between the 2 systems tell us much about
a Boolean Logic module... ?

That sounds frustrating... let us all know when it finally arrives - and if
you have the Wilson Analog Delay or some Analog Shift Registers PLS try and
upload some example files!!

I have both and will try to send a couple of things in
near future to the download section. Am currently
working on some patch illustrations for the group, as
well as some photos of my Serge system for Group
members to look at - That will show you more of my
particular configuration. I'll do some sound examples
after that.
