SQP stage select inputs

SQP stage select inputs

2008-08-30 by fhserge

What kind of trigger sources do you use for the SQP stage select
inputs?

As you probably do not want to repatch the inputs on the SQP all the
time (within seconds) how do you create flexibility in the addressing
of the different inputs?

- TKB
- External triggers (sequencers, rhythm machines)
- Pulse divider
....

Thanks a lot in advance for your creative suggestions

Hi Frank,

I always repatch from scratch and use anything with a red Gate output to select stages on the SQP. I've sent triggers from software, too. The BLOG, PDIV, and TKB are great sources for stage select pulses. Also, like Kim H. posted here awhile ago, the SQP can combine pulses presented at any stage input and make them available at the ALL GATE output.

Software is actually a nice idea I never thought of (I do not use
software any more for 20 years now...)! I should rethink my
philosophy...

I started my (not always happy) "computer life" with Atatri
sequencer software but dropped it to go the "hard way", i .e. buying
expensive modular hardware with virtually no bugs, no updates...

Thanks a lot Matt for this suggestion
