Yes, I have the second panel and more

2009-06-10 by roelelec

Hi Smog addicts,

I know I should have informed the group much sooner, but didn't come round to it.
Yes, I got the first floor M-boats more then a month back.
Rex knocked me out flat with the speed of sound in making, assembling and shipping my second order. And mind you, all in perfect working order.
Chapeau to the whole team at STS.

The random source was just the m-odule I was waiting for. Perfect when it comes to create rhytmic effects and he and the SSG are real buddies. BTW I noticed that S&G doesn't work the usual way, but the Serge way! But when I solved it, beautiful, elaborate rhythmic progressions were my reward. The DTG was more though. With Rex help I began to understand an unearth it's complexity. It's already amazing, though I only scratched the surface.
Funny or not. The Serge wave multipliers turned out to be as stuborn a bugger as the Doepfer version I have. Just feeding a sinus or triangle doesn't do the trick; there's more to it.
Have to figure that one out.
I got some fresh bananas from testpaths. I love the orange and purple.

And at last I created a photo album with pics of my little den in the photo section.
Plus i uploaded a little effect piece in the files section called "Wicked Liquid". I made this
in the first week I got the triple osc + Creature.

So I should say: check it out. Any comments are welcome.

Cheers,

Roel

Congratulations! I enjoyed your effect piece and the pictures show off your system well.

One thing you might try with the Wave Multiplier inputs is inserting an attenuator between the signal and the input for more subtle variations.

Hi Matt,

Thanks for you kind comments.
I find this little piece quite need myself.

I certainly will try this option with the wave multiplier.

Cheers,

Roel
