As per my understanding;
Trig: Will trigger the ADSR and have it run it's duration from beginning to end as dictated by the ADSR knob settings.
Gate: Will trigger the ADSR, run the AD duration, as set by their respective knobs. Then remain at the preset Sustain level for the duration of the Gate and only then run the Release stage.
Trig and Gate can also be combined. Here's my understanding of the process:
If Trig goes high while Gate is high, then the ADSR will restart with the A stage at the ADSR's current level (not sure if this phrasing makes sense :).. meaning that you may only notice a change if the AD portions' levels are higher than the Sustain..
... Please feel free to correct me if I'm mistaken LOL!
Cheers
Y.

Recently received the ADSR and I'm slowly starting to work with it.
How would you describe the difference between the red trigger input and the yellow gate input?
