CA3080E IC DIPs

Sorry to intterupt the flow. Is the CA3080E still of interest?

A couple of years ago this forum discused this discontinued part. I just found 200 CA3080E DIP Intersil parts, still in an unopened electrostatic bag, in tubes, 50 each tube. These were stored in the back of a closet since 2004.

Please reply to this post if there's interest. I want to sell them in a single transaction - all 200 parts at once. I don't have the means to package them in small numbers. I can send a photo, if you like. I am located in NH, USA.

I was going to sell them on E-bay, but I thought I'd ask the Serge community first. Thanks for the bandwidth.

I tried emailing you off list, but the mail keeps bouncing.

Anyway, I might be interested depending on the price, and possibly the date codes of the ICs (I've heard there are a couple of bad batches around).

Sorry about the e-mail - you should see the new magnus@... e-mail adress now. Anyway, let me look at the label on the anti-stat bag.

Well, it seems this part hasn't been discontinued. Suppliers in Hong Kong are selling them in various lots (5-1000 pieces, prices $2 - 0.69 ea on E-bay.

Sorry to fog up the windows on this forum. With that in mind, if there's an interest, $0.70 ea, $140 for 200 is prob fair. I'm in NH - not Hong Kong.

No date code on the the label, but it is dated 10/04/04 - these parts are almost 6 yrs old.

BTW - drop the hector and try tds dottt net.
