Ready to sell this system

Ready to sell this system

2015-03-15 by Bruce Cassidy

I haven’t fired it up in over 30 years.
Bought from Serge in 1981
A friend tried out the system about 8 years ago, loved it and bought a similar system.
He couldn’t get the pitch to voltage converter to work though - I haven’t tried it since - I never had a problem with the converter and the whole system hasn’t been run more than 10 hours.
I looked at it a couple of weeks ago with an aim to trying out the converter but I no longer have the Barcus-Berry pickup on trumpet that I used…
Has switchable transformer 110/220- I bought the system while living in South Africa.
In Toronto Canada now.
$2000 US firm - I’ll wait till I get that price
Buyer pays shipping and insurance
Buy as is.

Let me know if seriously interested.
Thank you
Bruce

FS: '79-'81 era Serge Panel and module - for restoration

2015-04-23 by Adam Scramstad

Hi All,

I have a spare ’79-/81 era Serge Panel. On the panel mounted and working (but needs calibration) there is:

- Precision Oscillator
- New Timbral Oscillator
- Extended Range VCF (aka VCFQ)
- Ring Mod (mounted between the VCFQ)
- Resonant Equalizer
- Dual Universal Slop Generator[/b]

If you look at the picture, you will see that was a Gentle Electronics Pitch Envelope Follower: only the jacks and knobs, NO GEPEF module included.. its gone.

I also have a few original vintage Serge modules that are assembled (not tested). Including:

- 101 Quad VCA
- 102 Dual Stereo Equal Power Driver - aka Dual Panner!!
- 203 MIX - for the Dual Audio Mixer[/b]

SO, for you all DIY savvy peoples :) The possibillity of building yourself a bad-ass Serge panel!

This is sold AS-IS as a project. But should be pretty easy to make a quick paper face overlay, and have yourself some classic Serge.

NO boats, NO power - just the panel and modules as described above.

Asking $1200 - FREE shipping worldwide.

Payment via Paypal Personal, located in Oregon, USA.

Cheers!
- Adam

If you are interested, let me know and i can send you a picture of the panel and modules. Thank You.

Re: Ready to sell this system

Hi All
I have sold this system. The buyer (a member of this forum) was able to get the PEF working - just a loose connection. I thank you all for your help and informative posts. I'm signing out - sadly abandoning you to emigrate to the land of zeros and ones.
Very best
Bruce
