Has anyone had any experience of these valve based modules?
The 'Hellfire Modulator' sounds very interesting and I would like to
integrate it into my Serge set up.
On the other hand, it may be too similar to the Serge Wave Shaper and Wave
Multiplier modules. Additionally I've always had a bit of a problem using
non-banana modules along with my Serge/Fenix stuff.

CE markings, + (ot) mir target

2001-03-27 by norman fay

SK asked if the serge panels had CE markings...well, I closely examined
my 1997 panel, and ps6 power supply, and there are none. Briefly, every
utensil sold in the european community is supposed to have this little
"CE" stamp on them, to show its up to certain standards. Obviously,
S.T.S. are *just not up to it* LOL.
So. Now you know. I'd have preferred my first info post to S.M.O.G. to
have been more interesting than this, bit this is all I've got right now
:)

BTW, my preferred target for the MIR space station would have been the
offices of the british music paper NME. Basically because it is
rubbish, and its writers are full of it! Heh.

best etc.

For shipping into the EU a gentlemen who also sells synthesizers suggested that
non-CE marked handcrafted electrical equipment might be legal to acquire when
not declared as such but as a piece of art.

The power supply chassis inside my PS6 (1999) is made by Condor and is
UL and CE rated. The markings are located on the underside of the
chassis, so disassembly is required to view them. I never looked inside
my previous power supply so I can't say for certain about it.
