Vintage Simmons Drums (UK) Users Group

Hi, Hauke.

My LEDs all light, from the programming interface to the individual
triggers. They light when you hit a pad, but the output isn't one of
the samples, it's sort of a "dooont." No real pitch, just a noise. It
doesn't change when I alter the parameters.

The battery in question is inside the brain, behind the programming
interface. You can see it when you pull the case off the chassis.

I'm not sure of the specific replacement battery required, or whether
simply replacing it will bring the beast back to life.
