"Three words for you: ebay.de and ends today!" That's FOUR!!! Thanks for the prompt Jesper regarding the SDS6. It went for 917.00 £630.00 which suggests that wallets are well stocked in Germany. A new Ananlogue Solutions Oberkorn sequencer (without the worries of dry solder joints) is £599.00 including casing. My desire to collect Simmons equipment does not stretch to overpaying for equipment - but then perhaps I'm a skinflint. The relative scarsity of SDS6's within Europe certainly plays a part FWIW. "missing knobs (Jesper do you have that source of knobs in Sweden?) and a non-funcioning slot which could have simply been down to those funky plastic locators or something more ominous. "Yes, I'm looking into the exact figures again since I've had many Q's about it." On another note has anyone any experience of changing the power supplies in any of the earlier SDS Simmons units? "Lasse is your man", Lasse come home - joke smile plllease ......OK a BAD joke I admit. I've missed Lasse's contributions. It's really a general enquiry as I noticed that the power supply in the SDS7 is silicon protected - though the PSU in my unit is gleaming (so it's bound to fail now I've said that). I was impressed with how servicable the SDS7 unit was when I stripped mine for a through cleaning adjustment of the selector unit and to replace the CMOS battery Stephen
