In fact, instead of checking, change it directly , it will be a good way to know how old it is...The battery life span is around ten or fifteen years...So it should be time ! Then, you will only know if your module has a problem or not ! To change it you need to open your SDS9 brain (powered off , of course !!!), checking the type & finding it or the equivalent at the shop... Then when it's replaced you should be able to save your kits & your settings . Don't you have any manual ?
