Hi, I am interested in buying that console. I should not have a problem with shipping it because I live in Illinois. I saw your kit and thought "Man! I wished I had that kit with the black stands, black pads, SDS7 console, instruction booklet, and selector pad!". I have been looking for that kit since 2002, when I got involved in making a Simmons kit kinda like that of what Rick Allen played for the Hysteria tour. I tried looking at pawn shops and second-hand music stores, but I had no luck. A kid I went to school with tried to sell me an SDS7 kit for $200, but it turned out it was all a lie (he never had that kit to begin with, he tried to cheat me). I have been looking on eBay fro one, but everytine I find one, either I don't have the money or someone shoots it up way too high. I think a fair price for that kit, according to my research, would be around $50-$200. Most of the ones I keep finding are way over my budget, like $400-over $1,000, but I know I have seen ones cheaper than that. I have found a memory cassette on eBay to go with it, and I am planning on buying that too. Some questions I have are: 1. Is your console a digital-analog (1 EPROM per card) or is it all digital (2 EPROMS per card)? 2. Does it come with the original box, like what my SDS1000 kit came in (I wanted the SDS7 because it was my first console of choice, since 2002. My SDS1000 has a really "inferior" design, because the slaps are cruddy and the toms don't go high enough like the SDSV or SDS7 consoles). 3. Do you have an SDSEPB and EPROM eraser to go with that? Thank you for posting that up.
