Vintage Simmons Drums (UK) Users Group

I think the Simmons were designed for a 50 ohm headphone. Using a different impedance load could cause you to hear more of the noise floor. Or the cable from the headphone jack to the PCB could be pinched between the bottom and top part of the chassis.

 I recently bought a black sds9 5 piece set in a simmons rack, sds9
 module and manual in english :)
 
 I am very satisfied with it, but have one little "problem". I get some
 background noise (static?) from the Headphone output. What could cause
 this?
