Well since everybody is throwing in a couple off dimes maybe I should too. Both parties in this issue are right ( or wrong depends on your point off view) Most likely the buyers off the shitty chinese crap drums won't be interested in analogue sounds ( and the trouble off keeping equipment going, also because the founder isn't much off a help, or am I to edgy here??) and true Simmons equipment and soundshaping etc. On the other hand, It might be a starting point where someone might become interested and want to achieve more knowledge etc etc and find out there's much more out there. I mean 15 years ago I bought my first sampler ( roland S10 ) and atari 1040 st and a radioshack kinda microphone because it was cheap and that way I could start writing my own music ( or something like that) Now I'm running on ensoniq ( asr-x)and yamaha (A3000) samplers with a Mac G4 and shitloads of other stuff cause in the time passing by I started to make money and I wanted things to work better and sound better. But I understand that the group don't want to be identified by the GC "simmons" rip off. And I personallly think it's best kept that way. Let's not forget that there are more ways to play (E-)drums I don't care how you do it, as long as it feels and sounds right: The music matters , and that's all there is folks.
