Vintage Simmons Drums (UK) Users Group

Hello Everyone!
I just bought a 5 piece black set of Simmons. I ahd totally forgotten 
about these cool looking drums until I discovered this set hiding in a 
closet at one of my friend's house. After seeing them I immediately 
had to purchase them. The set came with a perfect SDS-1000M module. I 
was curious to know a few things from other Simmons users:
1.) Has anyone had any experience painting their shells, and if so, 
what was the process and materials used?
2.) Aside from the Simmons modules themselves, what newer drum modules 
are some of you using?
3.) How many of you use your Simmons in live settings?
4.) I have reproduced the Simmons logo decals (a couple of mine were 
missing) and was wondering if anyone else may need some of these. The 
decals are cut from premium grade signage vinyl and are absolutely 
perfect in size and appearance; Additionally, I can cut them in 
virtually any color.
5.) I am going to have a Simmons logo t-shirt screened and was 
wondering if anyone else would like to have one as well.
