anything that looks like a pad will do the trick as long as you have a decent
trigger to midi converter, like a alesis d4 or 5 a yamaha tmx or a simmons
?? sorry forgot the name.
you can build your own pads if you like to but since pads ain't that expensive
anymore it's hardly worth the money saving

PS I wouldn't sell the pads, history and econimic wise
